Cashew Beef with Pineapple (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 450g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
02 - 1 cup raw cashews
03 - 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
04 - 1 bell pepper, sliced
05 - 1 onion, sliced
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

→ Sauces and Seasonings

08 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce
09 - 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
10 - 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
11 - Salt, to taste
12 - Pepper, to taste

→ Additional

13 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
14 - Cooked rice, for serving
15 - Chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet, toast the cashews over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
02 - In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Once hot, add the beef and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Sauté the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and ginger for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
04 - Add the diced pineapple and cooked beef back to the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Stir to combine and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
05 - Stir in the toasted cashews and mix well. Adjust seasoning if needed.
06 - Serve hot over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
