Chicken Carbonara with Bacon (Print Version)

01 - 2 chicken breasts, grilled and sliced
02 - 12 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
03 - 4 slices bacon, chopped
04 - 2 eggs
05 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
07 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 1 tbsp olive oil
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Black pepper, to taste
11 - Fresh parsley, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water before draining.
02 - In a pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same pan, add olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
04 - In a bowl, whisk together eggs, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper. Add heavy cream if a creamier consistency is desired.
05 - Toss the drained pasta into the pan with bacon and garlic. Remove from heat and stir in the egg mixture quickly, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve a creamy sauce.
06 - Top the pasta with sliced grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and fresh parsley. Serve warm with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
