04 - ¼ teaspoon salt
05 - ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
06 - 1 cup granulated sugar
07 - 1 large egg
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
09 - ¼ cup milk
10 - ½ cup chocolate chips

→ Cheesecake Filling

11 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
12 - ¼ cup powdered sugar
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
03 - In a separate large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy.
04 - Add the egg, vanilla extract, and milk to the butter mixture, and mix until fully combined.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
06 - In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
07 - Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough and roll it into a ball. Flatten it slightly on the prepared baking sheet. Create a small indentation in the center of each cookie and fill it with a small spoonful of the cheesecake filling.
08 - Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft. The cheesecake filling will puff up slightly.
09 - Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
