Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
02 - 1/2 cup honey or corn syrup
03 - 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
04 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
05 - 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
07 - Pinch of salt

# Instructions:

01 - Line a muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease each compartment.
02 - In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter and honey or corn syrup. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
03 - Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the melted peanut butter mixture, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.
04 - Spoon the cereal mixture into prepared muffin cups, pressing gently to create an even layer.
05 - In another microwave-safe bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and, if desired, peanut butter chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until fully melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
06 - Spread the melted chocolate mixture evenly over the cereal base in each muffin cup.
07 - Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm. Once set, serve and enjoy.
