Chopped BLT Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 ounces bacon.
02 - 1 heart of romaine.
03 - 2 small tomatoes or 1 large tomato.
04 - 2 to 4 tablespoons mayonnaise.
05 - 4 sub rolls.

# Instructions:

01 - Place bacon in cold skillet on medium heat, flip every 3-4 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
02 - Place bacon on foil-lined pan in cold oven, heat to 425ºF and cook about 15 minutes.
03 - Chop romaine and dice tomatoes, add to bowl with mayonnaise and toss.
04 - Remove bacon grease, place rolls cut-side down to toast 2-3 minutes.
05 - Broil rolls cut-side up for 1-3 minutes, watching carefully.
06 - Chop bacon, add to vegetable mixture, toss together and fill toasted rolls.

# Notes:

01 - Start with cold pan or oven for bacon.
02 - Watch rolls closely under broiler.
03 - Adjust mayo amount to taste.
