Creamy Garlic Shrimp Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Shrimp

01 - 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - Salt to taste
04 - Pepper to taste
05 - 1 teaspoon paprika
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Creamy Sauce

07 - 2 tablespoons butter
08 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1 cup heavy cream
10 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
12 - Salt to taste
13 - Pepper to taste
14 - Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

→ Mashed Potatoes

15 - 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
16 - 1/2 cup warm milk
17 - 1/4 cup butter
18 - Salt to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with warm milk and butter until smooth. Season with salt and set aside.
02 - Toss shrimp with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 3–5 minutes.
04 - Spoon mashed potatoes onto a plate. Arrange cooked shrimp on top. Pour creamy garlic sauce over shrimp and potatoes. Garnish with fresh thyme.
