07 - 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak, sliced into thin strips

11 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
12 - 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
13 - 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
14 - 1 small onion, chopped
15 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
16 - 1 green chili, sliced (optional)
17 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
18 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
19 - 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce (optional)
20 - 1/2 teaspoon sugar
21 - 1/4 cup beef broth or water
22 - 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 1 tablespoon water)

# Instructions:

01 - Boil the potato slices in salted water for 5 minutes, then drain and pat dry. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the potatoes until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
02 - In a bowl, mix the beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over high heat. Sear the beef for 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove and set aside.
03 - In the same pan, add garlic, onion, and green chili. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then add red and green bell peppers, cooking for another 2 minutes.
04 - Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce (if using), sugar, and beef broth in a bowl. Pour the sauce into the pan, then stir in the cornstarch slurry. Return the beef to the pan and toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until coated and glossy.
