French Onion Beef & Rice Skillet (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 teaspoons avocado oil
02 - 1 large yellow onion, sliced
03 - 1 pound ground beef
04 - 1 cup white long grain rice, uncooked

→ Liquids & Sauces

05 - 2 cups beef stock
06 - 3/4 cup French Onion Skillet Sauce

→ Seasonings

07 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
08 - 1 teaspoon Onion Onion Seasoning
09 - 1/2 teaspoon Seasoned Pepper

→ Add-ins

10 - 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
11 - 1 cup Gruyére cheese, shredded

# Instructions:

01 - Cook onion in avocado oil over medium-high heat until golden brown and caramelized, about 20 minutes. Remove to plate.
02 - Cook ground beef until crumbled and cooked through. Drain fat. Add garlic and seasonings, cook 30 seconds.
03 - Add rice, beef stock, French Onion sauce, vegetables and caramelized onions. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and cook 18-20 minutes until rice is tender.
04 - Fluff rice mixture, stir in shredded cheese until combined.

# Notes:

01 - If onions start to burn, reduce heat and add more oil
