Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F). Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the lobster shell lengthwise, stopping at the tail. Gently pull the lobster meat out and place it on top of the shell while keeping it attached at the base.

In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne (if using).

Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

Switch the oven to broil for the last 2 minutes of cooking to achieve a crispy, golden top.

Sprinkle the cooked lobster tails with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
