Homemade Cranberry Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup apple cider.
02 - 1 cup sugar.
03 - 3 cups cranberries (1 bag).
04 - 1 or 2 cinnamon sticks.

# Instructions:

01 - Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
02 - Reduce to medium-low and simmer 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened and cranberries have popped.
03 - Remove cinnamon sticks and let cool slightly before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Can substitute apple cider with water or orange juice.
02 - Keep heat at medium-low to prevent foaming.
03 - Sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
