Jerk Lemon Pepper Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 pounds salmon, 1 to 2 pieces
02 - 2 tablespoons butter
03 - 1 tablespoon peanut oil or canola oil
04 - Jerk seasoning, to taste
05 - Lemon juice, to taste
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - In a skillet, melt the butter and heat it with the oil over medium heat.
03 - Season the salmon with jerk seasoning, salt, and pepper.
04 - Place the salmon in the skillet, skin-side down, and sear for about 4 to 5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
05 - Flip the salmon over and squeeze lemon juice over it.
06 - Transfer the skillet into the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
07 - Serve the salmon hot, garnished with additional lemon slices if desired.
