# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
02 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 2 tablespoons lemon zest (about 2 lemons)
07 - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
08 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Lemon Glaze

09 - 1 cup powdered sugar
10 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
11 - 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla. Stir wet ingredients into the dry mixture just until combined. Do not overmix.
03 - Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely in the pan.
04 - In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth. Pour glaze over the cooled brownies and spread evenly. Let glaze set before cutting into squares.
05 - Cut into bars and serve! These brownies taste even better the next day after the lemony flavors soak in.
