01 - 1 lb chicken breast, diced
02 - 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
03 - 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
04 - 4 cups chicken broth
05 - 1 cup heavy cream
06 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

08 - 1 small onion, diced
09 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
10 - 2 tbsp olive oil
11 - Salt and pepper to taste
12 - Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced chicken and sliced sausage, cooking until the chicken is browned, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for 2-3 minutes until softened.
02 - Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, ranch seasoning, and pasta. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
03 - Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
04 - Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
