Combine minced garlic, chopped basil, and softened butter in a small bowl until the mixture is homogenous.

Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each slice of Italian bread. Sprinkle 0.5 tablespoon of grated Parmesan onto the buttered side of each slice and press gently.

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add angel hair pasta and cook until al dente. Drain thoroughly.

In a bowl, mix the hot, drained pasta with Bolognese sauce until evenly coated.

Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, onto a clean surface. Layer 3 slices of mozzarella evenly over the bread. Top with the pasta and sauce mixture, spreading evenly. Arrange the remaining mozzarella slices over the pasta. Close with the second bread slice, buttered side up.

Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Place the sandwich in the pan and cover with a lid. Toast for 5–6 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip carefully, cover, and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted through.
