In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

In a deep pot, heat oil to 175°C (350°F). Using a small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Once the donut holes have cooled slightly, dip the tops in the cream cheese frosting. Optionally, sprinkle with additional powdered sugar or top with fresh strawberries.
